If smaller transportation solutions like motorized wheelchairs, scooters, segways, single-lane cars... get more popular, you will have many people moving at different speeds/width (including people walking) and even bike lanes will look (more) retarded.
Maybe the solution is shortening the sidewalks to a little bit more than 2 or 3 persons wide, extend the road lanes and use an intelligent system to allocate, signalize and block/allow (with small obstacles) traffic for different purposes (motorcycles, bikes, smaller transportation, pedestrians...).
Normies will have a hard time obeying it, though.
