>>14649872evil4me. I like friendly bikes.
>>1464994No one thought to remove the dork disc in over 30 years? Nice bike, though. Not sure whether I'd use the reflector mounts to attach lights. Might look a bit jerry-rigged in the end.
>>1465044Congratulations! Get some nice pinned flat pedals next (bonus for accent color) and take a drive-side pic.
>>1465064Looks fun to ride. What frame is that?
>>1465091Good choice on going rigid instead of carrying the weight of a cheap suspension fork. Have fun riding as long as you're allowed to.
>>1465109Amazing touring bike! Wouldn't change a thing.
>>1465111Both bikes are 10/10.
>>1465156Looks great, 8/10. Would be 10/10 if it was classic geometry. Love the purple.
>>1465184What do you plan to uprade to? I'm clueless about MTBs, so all I can say is that your current bike looks good, I guess.
>>1465234Hnnnnnggg, I want to ride that for some reason. Preferably in 64cm frame size, though. How much did you spend on the build, if I may ask? Midnight Special is a really nice frameset.
>>1465340I love it! Really cool. It's in really good shape, too. And all colors matching, wow, I'm amazed. 11/10. Your tires are ridiculously bad, btw. So you should definitely change them anyway. If you want to stick with slicks, Michelin Pro4 endurance (see my pic) are quite tough, not excessively heavy and not that expensive. They also roll really well. For narrow gravel tires, check the Panaracer Pasela and take the widest that will clear your frame. Not really sure whether I would go that route for the occasional gravel path once in a while.
Pic related: New baiku making frens with the cage. Changes from last thread: Ultegra 6500 groupset now complete (brakes were still 6400-series before), new brakepads (Shimano R55C4, not sure whether I like them yet), Ritchey Classic saddle (not as comfortable as I hoped it would be).
To do: Cinelli Chubby bar tape, new brake and shifter cables. Should I go black or purple for the cables?
