I also was thinking this: if this was my introduction to cycling I would never have ended up riding..I can see why a lot of people in the suburbs hate cycling and don't even own bikes. There's nowhere to go and nothing to see. If you aren't interested in the athletic aspect it's basically shit and even Zwift would be more fun and comfortable
