OK they are not so bad compared to the pure china brands
but shimano revoshift is better due to the larger grip and planetary gears
other problem is that they are mostly for the smaller diameter of handle bar (22.2 vs 23.8 ?)
and the indexing may be different either due to the distance between rear cogs or derailleur geometry / movement
I'm not too sure but I think chains for 5 6 and 7 speed clusters are the same width on the older bikes regardless of MTB or road bike
