I'm shopping for one myself, and think pic related looks cooler. Not cheap, but seems more rugged and versatile than the scooter or an electric skateboard with controller. Am I wrong here? If the Onewheel is as good as I think, why aren't they more common?

Ok low end scooters can't have anything swapped out, but high end scooters like Dualtrons and op's scooter let you adjust the suspension height and firmness, and let you change out the handlebar for any bike one

I used to unironically blast around on a non electric one. Incredibly underrated method of transport. It's quick, easy, and you can flaunt traffic rules fucking easy because as soon as you hit a red light you can just hop off and become a pedestrian.

Can't really do that with the electric ones because they're heavy as fuck and quite bulky. I miss it but it's not as good since I moved to Europe. Too many cobbles.

Nosedives are for people that don't know how to read the board. It's tons of fun, just wish it went farther. I'm a muscular 235 lbs and I can barely get 5 miles or so. there are 3rd party battery extensions, but they're expensive.
