if someone tells you your car's "Hull" is getting deformed as a result of a bike rack is selling your some horseshit
depending on your car, unibody or truck
you have 2 frame rails that run the length of car, or you have 2 frame rails that are welded and tied into the firewall and body pan of the vehicle to continue onto 2 frame rails tied into the cabin going out back
if your car is body on frame, even a 100 mph crash isn't enough force to crumple the frame into a ball
so a cheap shit bike rack isn't going to deform your frame rails in either a body on frame or unibody car
