>>1492443>How do you avoid this when cycling? Consistent and regularly fueling yourself with good nutrition.
If I eat a good breakfast, I can go 4-5 hours without refueling and if conditions are right, I can ride that length without hydrating but in both cases I'll be worn out but not completely burned out.
Good Breakfast
>1/4cup of steel cut oats boiled for 30 minutes then topped with 1tbsp brown sugar, cinnamon, and splash of olive oil>cappuccino, 6oz espresso, 6oz whole milk steamed/frothed, 1 tbsp brown sugar>2 slices whole wheat or honey wheat bread, hummus or butter spread or pb/j or dipped in olive oil + balsamic vinegar + dried garlic and herbs mix>2 boiled eggs, 9 minute boil, chilled in cool water, then salt and pepper after peeled>16oz glass of whole milk>full range once a day multivitamin/mineralSometimes I don't have the time for the oats or eggs but the bread, milk, multivitamin, and espresso are essential. And for dinner, I almost always have beans, meat/fish, bread, and milk. I need to eat more fruits and veggies, I kinda don't eat any fruits or veggies, just a fuck ton of carbs, meat, and dairy plus the multivitamin
Milk is amazing shit, if you're not drinking a gallon of milk every 2 or 3 days, you're not gonna make it. It's one of the cheapest and most nutritionally dense foods you can buy. Milk has a fuck ton of calories, proteins, fats, and even potassium and a bunch of other good stuffs. That potassium is crucial in preventing exercise cramps from salt loss.
