Is Canada to mtb, what Italy is to road cycling? Are mtbers poseurs and consoooomers as well?

Are the only people in existence that #JustRide on aluminium hybrids with Acera groupsets?

Too much red tape in Canada to have epic mountain bike parks here. The mountain bike trails on public land are quite tame. Government won't let the local clubs that build trails add ramps or other cool stuff.

Yeah British Columbia is basically the Mecca of mountain biking with the whole Vancouver area, Squamish, Pigsah and of course Whistler. Hell, the entire term “north shore” which refers to extreme riding with high consequence man made features, and is an accepted “official” term used by governing trail and safety organizations is referring to north shore Vancouver I believe.
I mean there’s a lot of other high profile mtb regions, swiss alps, rocky mountains, southwestern america but British Columbia is basically the holy land if you ask most people
