I have to wonder if someone exceeded their authority, then were told to undo it. It seems odd that hundreds of sets of lights across the city all started cycling back and forth giving a walk signal every time.
It was a bit of a pain in the ass because I kept hitting red lights constantly those 2 days. Though it did help at intersections that don't detect cyclist properly.
