>>1499054I prefer carrying bike inside the car. I actually bought a wagon because I wanted to try bike park life style. But I really havent done it much. It feels so stupid to drive like half an hour some where and then ride few trails over and over again for an hour or two. There's mtb friendly trails almost right next to my home. So I just ride them or maybe once a week or two do a marathon style 90 km loop that's mostly fire roads, smoothish paths, some really technical shit and and also maybe 20 km of tarmac transition.
But about the car. Just flip the back seats down and I can fit my long low and slack XL sized bike in. No additional wind resistance, bike stays clean, no need to attach it anyways and it doesn't stick out too wide or block the registration plate.
