She is a 90s girl. It has good old steel frame, cantilever brakes and no shock absorbers, but the seat is comfy.
I need to replace the tubes, and the tires. This bike only does urban rides nowadays, so I want urban tires, but sturdy if possible. There was an anon that recommended some of the best puncture-proof tires in Europe, but I can't remember which brand it was. The old tires are Panaracers.
I also need to replace brake pads. The front ones are making noise, I think the rubber has lost elasticity.
What else would you do? Should I replace the chain? It still has the original one, but the last time it went to the shop it got the shifters well adjusted, it doesn't really feel bad.
