What are your favorite brands of cycling apparel for the post-wh*te society? Personally I like PedalED because I can avoid accidentally giving money to the wrong kind of people if you understand what I am saying.

Any other favorites? Only brands made by the right kind of people. Thanks.

No recs are even possible. Find the ones that fit you and chafe the least by trial and effort. This is not a one time thing but an ongoing process as your body changes throughout the year based on training, aging, weather, etc

Don't bother with non-bibs. Yes that makes the process more expensive. No, non-bibs are not an option. Liner shorts are fine for disciplines that you spend less time in the saddle (mtb etc) tho.

I go with regular padded shorts and a jersey. I don't know what the chan's obsession with bibs is. I rarely see them IRL, I wonder if it is like /fit/ where they try to egg people on into shaving their head or doing starting strength

bibs ride up and regular shorts ride down. The whole point of the garment is to remain in close contact with your body. The more loose fabric between you and the saddle, the more chafing is likely.

It's not written in stone that you can't be comfortable without a bib, but most people are a lot more comfortable on a long ride with a decent set of bib shorts than they will be with a great set of regular shorts.

Don't compare us with /fit/ ever again.
