>>1509102Set the trucks to a tightness that you feel comfortable. Since its a drop thru the hardware attaching the trucks to the board are more liable to come loose, so just keep an eye on that and listen for rattling. Don't worry too much about bearings, theyre cheap so if you think they're bad you can always replace them. They should be good for a long time if you avoid water. The board is cheap so the wheels may be crap, if you're ever looking to upgrade that should be the first thing. Good wheels can make a big difference on a longboard. I used to haul ass on my Abec11 Zigzag wheels.
Anyway you should be all set. Have fun, and make sure you can control the board before going down any big hills. There's a bit of a learning curve but once it feels natural, it's a fun way to get around.
