My shop has a bunch. Breddy good pedal for cheaper than raceface. $50 for plastic is outrageous. You can get good alloy pedals for only slightly more.

Depends how strong the body of the pedal is. I use Nukeproof horizon pedals and they hold up very well against rock strikes. I don't know how strong the plastic is.

Plastic pedals, with metal studs, are literally the best. They weigh less, don't get scraped, are cheaper, grip just as well. Wow. I don't want to brag, but I figured that out as a child.
