>>1522261I would not recommend e bikes in general mostly because the battery and electronics have a five year life span
and for your purpose the weight of the motor and battery may make it a bit harder to move about in confined spaces
its only an extra 5 to 7 kg but the density and distribution of weight makes all the difference
but if its for your convenience and you have the spare cash go ahead
>my neighborhood also has some steep hills that i dont see myself able to get up easily unless i had some helphow bad ? find the worst one on google maps, they sometimes provide elevation information across distance
25 gear inches is workable but not low enough desu, but with small wheels its easy to get much lower
just quick look about I find

30 to 94 gear inches... no good for hills
unfortunately its stock parts are shimano Tiagra 4601
that tops out at 30 tooth for rear cog only good for 25 gear inches with stock 39 tooth chain ring
however 110 BCD can take smaller chain rings (limited by FD max difference of 16 teeth)(and the RD only being able to handle 30 teeth)
(52/36) 23 to 92 gear inches
(50/34) 22 to 89 gear inches
(48/32) 21 to 85 gear inches
changing the RD to RD-4700-GS improves things as it can handle a 34 tooth cassette
(52/36) 21 to 92 gear inches
(50/34) 19 to 89 gear inches
(48/32) 18 to 85 gear inches
if you've got 24 inches you may as well use two feet ;)
