Certain American states and certain European countries run higher weights internally, but firstly they don't matter in the large picture, and secondly the higher weight almost always comes with more axles and therefore more wheels and therefore more brakes. The weight per wheel and therefore per brake remains relatively even. There's no reason American trucks need to be as horseshit garbage at braking as the Utah Department of Transportation claims.
