>>1579568this thread has been up for 4 and a half months. the cyclist cafe thread has been up for over a year. this board is like a mental institution. thank god i will finally be able to build a pretty good bike so i can move on. bike dealers are so fucking shady, don't be a cheapskate, you have to buy from a trusted brand or build your own bike or your bike will be shitty and you won't know what you're missing. buying a somewhat decent used bike can be feasible, it won't win you any races but you might find a decent commuter bike, but when you're a noob you won't know a good deal from a bad one and you'll have some ideas about comfort or whatever so you won't listen to anons advice some of which is decent advice.
