Why are so many mixed traffic streetcars being built in the USA?
Who the fuck thinks this is a good idea?
They get stuck in traffic dont even get their own lane most of the time and are on average slower than regular buses. Why spend so much if you are going to half ass it and make it just an expensive bus? And they often are just loop systems.
Nearly every single one of the modern systems built in the last 20 years has been built like this. WHY?
