Offroad, generally yes, but it depends somewhat on your conditions. The fact that you leave out critical information implies that you might not have any idea what you're doing.
Road tubeless are a meme, for now. Sealant in tubes on the other hand isn't, depending on your road hazards. Goatheads. Drunken bottle throwing hobos. Not for race day obviously.
Super casual once a month riders should probably skip tubeless or stick to sealant in tubes. The more you ride, the better sealant works.
