>>1531281Oh nah for sure, go ahead. It's still a frame. It's cheaply constructed and more likely to fail one day, but that is still highly unlikely and way down the line. It weighs more than a nicer frame but that's not a huge deal. And it probably won't ride as smoothly but actually some hiten bikes do have quite nice rides only one way to tell that's ride it and see.
I might have said you wasted your time painting it but it's a fun project and why the fuck not.
It's not even a waste to put nice parts on it, because if you dig riding it you could look out for a deal on a nicer frame and transfer em over one day.
basically if you want a good bike from here you should try and get some better wheels and tyres and that will take all your money. Have a look at velomine. Or even better yet buy some local fixiefags used custom built wheels.
Nothing else is that important except for aesthetics and ergonomics which are both personal.
