>>1538513nice. on my mtb 22/36 the crankarms are a triple bcd 64-104 for octalink BB. so, i put just the granny 22t and a 36t, and short crankbolts to put the shit together and tight. to fix any potential chainline problem, i analize the crossing and gone to 118 mm axle BB instead using the short old one, worked like a charm.
but shimano jews are too jew man. they are not manufacturing 36t for geared drivetrains anymore, about 1 year ago. only 36t for 1x shit and narrow, twice or triple the value of a geared steel 36t bcd 104. for the last past 3 years i had been buying geared 36t from LBS warehouses while they weren't recieving any new 36t geared chainring... so about 1 month ago i bought all 36t chainring on 4 cities LBS had (just 2 chainrings xd).
in other side, 64 bcd 22t chainring seems to be out there for a long time more. where can i find good quality 36t geared chainring for bcd 104? aliexpress just push narrow and 1x shit, only useful result is 34t, not 36 (i can consider that option). the quality is a great question for me...doubts about bending, about stiffness, about good machining, about trueing while rotating, about wear resistance against shimano steel chainrings...
any advice?
PD: the only useful aliexpress result (
https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4000782761166.html ) is out of 34t stock. what to do.
