i often buy those 500 gram packs jasmine rice
do rice & curry or sauce of some kind or something.
wash, bring to the boil 1:1.5 with water and simmer 10 mins. then rest for another 10
not that much gas. my soto stove does a very low simmer if it's calm. i prefer that to pasta. you can cook more in a smaller pot too
carry a small bottle of oil. you can get good calories and nice food cooking with liberal oil
tube of tomato paste. Good because it's very salty
fry some garlic, add tomato paste, add water, wa la, sauce for rice
will maybe pick up a head of brocolli or a couple sausages to cook in that or add some cured meat or herbs i find. If you look out for herbs you can always find some.
or, a small 100ml tin of coconut cream
fry up aromats, add coconut cream, maybe add some herbs or lemon juice, wa la, curry
cook this while my rice is resting
maybe buy a tiny bit of meat or various veges to go in it
tuna eat raw straight out of the can like a goddamn animal
i generally end up eating a lot of wild fruit like apples, pears, blackberry. walnuts if it's the season can often find those.
