I took a tumble and bent the left side of my shift housing. It's almost imperceptible but given it's my bike I noticed it off the bat.

I'm assuming there's an easy fix, but it isn't apparent to me. Can someone take pity on me and help me out?

The problem is just that it's pointed inward? Try to push it back with your hand, it's held on by a metal clamp around the handlebar and the crash just slid it around a little. If it won't go on its own, there'll be a bolt to loosen it under the rubber of the shifter somewhere. Peel it back and look for it. Even if you can push it back without the bolt it might be good to find it anyway and check that it's tight.

Try bending it back, otherwise remove the bar tape and inspect the hood assembly and either replace the hood fastening bracket or...bend it back.
