Went for my daily ride and ended up getting into a fight with some old Fred who wanted to act like a typical rich asshole.

I don't think I've ever had to fight another cyclist about anything before. Even my run-ins with pedestrians are so quick there's never been time for arguments, I just sort of kept going. It takes an extra amount of assholery from both parties to actually get into a fight with a stranger in passing

I fight with other cyclists on the internet all the time because I generally hate people and people hate me. on the other hand in real life not so much. but that's because I don't talk to other cyclists or other people. I know what's in their heads and I don't like it, so avoidance is the name of the game. sure I'll act friendly to them and they'll act friendly to me but don't come any closer you human garbage, I know your secrets.

If you still have or using a uniglide, good luck on finding the cassette removal tool.
Ebay prices for it tend to be bit on the extreme side but it sure is a tool made for life.

Well, if they're taken care of properly I guess, but they're cassettes.

It might seem trivial, but I'm really thankful for HG splines just for the relative use of removal.

DESU I don't think it's worth it in the long run.
If you can cold set or just spread out your rear frame spacing from 126mm to 130mm, just get a modern wheelset with 130mm hub spacing.

I still have UG wheelsets and while I'm sure the spare UG cassettes I have will outlast me, I think it's best to not have that trivial worry.

He may be able to get away with using a 7s freehub in his conversion or maybe he's lucky and there's spacers on the NDS he can remove to get a 8s freehub in without spreading the frame.

Not a cyclist but some retards almost made me ram into their pram recently.
It was on a sidewalk that's supposed to be used by both cyclists and pedestrians, they were walking on the wrong side of it to begin with and then they just charged across the sidewalk without looking back just as I was about to pass them.
I managed to brake enough so I didn't hit them. Idiots of course started telling me I shouldn't be there because cyclists don't belong on the sidewalk. When I pointed out the huge traffic sign with a cyclist on it they told me that I should have honked. Because why not, let's honk at every single person that I'm passing because they may just decide to fucking jump to the other side of the sidewalk.
I'm going to save up money and buy a Gopro or some shit to record all my rides, it will be certainly cheaper to buy it than possibly paying up after someone decides to fucking jump across the sidewalk again.
