I installed these gravel king tires (32) to replace my 25 continental Grand Prix for a better ride quality and the ride quality is still shit. I’m running them at 60psi. Should I be running them a lot lower or am I just doomed? I’m trying to soften up a bumpy road

Sprung saddle is better than a suspension seatpost, I agree. But the sus post is easier to find than a sprung saddle that fits you.

I don't remember gravel kings being a particularly soft ride desu. Yeah run them at a lower pressure if you like it won't hurt. Maybe try some paselas if you're not off roading. An alu cx frame is never going to be super comfy though.

This. If you're sitting on your balls or squarely on the taint, there's something very wrong with how the saddle is set up (tilt, fore-aft) or with how that particular type works with your body (shape, width, padding).

Alu is always gonna be kind of rough but honestly just get used to it. As long as you dont have suspension big bumps are gonna rock your shit no matter what, steel and wide tires help you float over the fine stuff but thats it. Youll get used to it.
