It's the same as people taking strava kom's with cars/mopeds or straight up coding fake rides.
Weak people want to be perceived as strong and they think they can achieve it through that.
Some pro's tried racing on Zwift and ended up middle of the pack or only 50th in TTs because literally everyone on there is cheating by either putting some bullshit numbers as their weight/height or modifying their power output in one way or another.
That's precisely why you shouldn't take Zwift seriously and use it as a training supplement when you can't ride outside for whatever reason.
