Where did public transport go so wrong in Britain?
Mutilated railways, cramped Tube for Londonabad, and then piss smelling buses for the rest of the country. London being basically the only place that gets infrastructure investment.
Why did we fall so totally for the automobile, when other ancient, noble, powerful and wealthy European countries like France and Germany still have stellar Tramways, lightrail, multiple undergrounds etc?
