For what it's worth: Small communities are heavily romanticized by metropolitan-dwellers. In my life I've fully experienced both worlds in Europe and the disadvantages small communities have seem to be vastly under appreciated.
People are people. For the most part, they're always rather shitty and prone to simple behaviors and thought-patterns like being simple-minded and lacking an encompassing worldview and being nosy, gossiping cunts. In a large city you can escape these faults - if you so choose to - not so much in a small community where everyone knows everyone. This may have once had an evolutionary purpose to assure co-operation for the survival of the tribe but in today's world it is a dreary experience. Gotta take the good with the bad. It's fucked either way you spin it.
Also, cities can have soul too. Great soul, in fact. Along with other aspects of the small towns such as a sense of community (witnessed this living in commieblocs.).
>>1576579I never have, and never will understand what the problem is with eugenics. I think it's because most people fancy themselves visions of absolute perfection and suggesting that we need to control our biology to assure our survival, and the benefit of all living things, must seem like a personal attack to them? Perhaps it is an intrinsic aspect of humans to think too highly of themselves, as being above all else? Not gonna lie, I do too and I hate the thought of getting cucked into submission but I also am fully aware that that is seemingly the only sane thing to do.
You can't trust people to do the right thing, that's why they have to be chained like dogs. That is the single most depressing thing about the human condition and the folly of man: So much potential for great things, wasted.
Maybe that technological singularity AI overlord will be the god/benevolent dictator we've all been waiting for. Maybe it will be AM. Either way, we all get what we fucking deserve.
