The bike I prev posted wasn't a perticularly fast one, it was a steep seat tube one.

In tri cycling, you are also allowed to use tri spoke wheels, which are faster than any other spoked wheels, no matter how many ZIPP decals you put on them. They are also not as dangerous and heavy as disc wheels.
And yes positioning plays a big role.
