Why is driving so hard?

No.1579755 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I have a PPL license (Cessna 172) and I find driving a car hard as fuck. It's literally the hardest thing I've ever done.

If I'm focusing on the road I'm not looking at the side mirror, if I'm looking behind me I forget to use the turn signals, if I'm focusing on pedestrians I missing the traffic signs, if I'm looking at traffic signs I don't see pedestrians, if I try hard enough to keep my eyes in check I suddenly forget the laws of the road.
Even crosswind landing is much easier than parking. I'm not forced to shoehorn my plane in a small space between others traveling in my direction, t he opposite direction and sometimes sideways.
Flying a private aircraft is much simpler, and requires less concentration most of the time, landings excepted. Every moment must be channeled into controlling and planning the course of the vehicle. Distracted driving kills millions. How many accidents result from distracted flying? One lost moment while driving and you're potentially dead. An airplane gives you time to assess, to remedy, to minimise danger and destruction.

Driving is very hard.
