So this is just a glitch, right? I haven't seen it before despite looking multiple times daily for years. Showed up in Northern Canada for a few seconds, then disappeared.

I have a friend in the Canadian Air Force who has told me that the Russians regularly (as in multiple times a year) make incursions into Canadian Arctic Airspace with military aircraft in order to test our responsiveness and readiness.

Maybe a glitch, maybe fake data thats part of a military training day. Spook the new controller and see how he reacts, that kind of thing. Like every other weird thing in the sky, its either northing or someone playing a joke.
