So instead of braking, we could fuel, get loaded/unloaded, sit in traffic, whatever, but it's rarely a break.
Personally I liked getting behind someone waiting for fuel, wait, get my fuel, and then go piss or grab a coffee or whatever, and I'd have my 30 out of the way without acting taking a break.
You can only drive 11 hours a day total and after 14 hours of ANYTHING, you must break for 10 hours.
You can get in the weeds over bullshit, but that's the basics.
