This is probably a stupid question and the answer is probably "no" but I figured I'd ask anyways since I can't seem to find a clear answer. Do winter tires like the kind you buy at $100 apiece come on rims? I'm guessing they don't and you have to mount them yourself. I can do basic mechanic work like tire, brake, caliper, rotor, and oil changes but I've never actually mounted a tire on a rim before. I guess I could learn but I'd much rather just change out tires that are already on rims. Is that a thing or not really?
