>>1588558One time I was going for a ride about a year ago now. I was on a shitty hybrid bike and there was a way to shortcut my cycle by biking through about 5/6 km of grass along a river. I decided to do the shortcut and it was pretty abandoned. about 2k in there was a greyhound blocking the path. The path is pretty small and if I went around it ,it could easily get me. I am not scared of dogs and own one myself however where I live its a pretty common occurrence for people to be out in the countryside and get ripped to shreds by dogs because nobody is around. I decided to sprint around it and I went as fast as I possibly could. luckily it couldn't catch up with me and later on the ride somebody passed me and asked if I had seen a stray dog because their dog had ran off. Could have went down alot worse
