What is so bad about cars?
Yeah destroying the urban core to build parking lots and destroying neighborhoods with freeways was stupid but cars let you go wherever you want and whenever you want. I can haul a bunch of shit or people if I want, I can sleep in it, I can go camping, I can travel across the entire United States and stop wherever I want to. Americans love the freedom cars give them. I like public transportation for solving the issue of 9-5 commuter traffic and dense areas but besides that cars are almost always better.
