I took the Eurostar from Brussels to London in 2017, but I live in Ireland, so it's not a journey that would ever be something I'd normally experience, but I was in Germany at the time, and decided to take the ICE to Brussels and then the Eurostar.
Regardless, the TMST was pretty nostalgic for me, not because I had been on one before, but because I had used the Belfast-Dublin Enterprise train a lot. At that time, they had "modernised" and totally redone the interior, but the original interior was to the Eurostar spec, and was manufactured by DeDeitrich (a coach builder which was absorbed into Alsthom).
Having the exact same seats, tables and carpets was something I didn't expect to be immediately familiar with, despite having never been on the TMST before.
