I disagree, merino feels ok at best. Also it has a stretch problem unless it's blended to hell with synthetics anyway, in which case why not just wear synthetics.
I consider merino to be basically a fashion statement, not that there's anything wrong with that. Just let's not pretend that it's something other than that.
