Are mean of transport, such as airplanes, engines, trolleys and similar upgraded during their lifespan? I mean, technology is constantly advancing and many of them, expecially the older models still in service, came out of the factory decades ago, so I was wondering if sometimes they get upgrades such as software optimizations, electronic hardware replacements or even mechanical, in order to match as efficiently as possible with the newest technologies available.
