Considering the frames heavy and the front is 53/43 I’ll just take your advice and use the limit screw to eliminate the smallest cog.
I have 2 other vintage bikes so I’m not in a rush to replace this frame. Maybe after Covid I’ll buy an actual touring frame for these parts.
