>>1602133>>never shifts reliably through all the gears (maybe with a new gear cable?)AW, AWC. RF5, Shimano nexus 3,7,8(alfine), sachs/sram T3,i3,P5,s7 never ever fucking misshift ever.
Perhaps you should bludgeon pablo the bike mechanic for doing such a shitty job.
I've ridden a fucktonne of IGH's and they all shift 101% of the time effortlessly, without a sound, swiftly and reliably.
>>makes a dumb clicking noise in most of the gearsIGH's with pawls can make a clicking sound when they are in the 2 highest of gears, If you've actually ridden a few you'd know. Some of these hubs are not loud at all.
The image you posted is of a nexus 8 hub of the SG-8R31 or newer version, which exclusively uses roller clutches and do not emit a ticking sound in any gear, unless pedallying backwards or pushed backwards in gear 5 through 8
>>especially with 3 speed you have stupidly large gaps between gears which doesn't make sense since you're riding in flatland to be able to cope with such a shitheap of a bikeCope af, Nexus and sachs hubs generally have big steps between gears(for a total of 186% iirc) but serveral SA hubs have smaller steps, and are still adequate for flat or slightly hilly terrain.
Also why the fuck would anyone want 2 shifters, 2 cables, 2 derailleurs, all exposed to the elements on a utility bike?
>>NOT zero maintenance but the people who buy them will larp as if that's the case because you would have to take it apart to see how gunked up it isOh no maintenance noooo!!!!!
