Sorry if bike threads are not allowed but this is the most sane board on 4chan and bikes are vehicles so I figured I'd post it here.
I wanna get into biking however I do not know which one is more fun. On the one hand mountain biking appeals to me a lot more, however I live 2-4 hours from any real mountains that I could do this sport on.
Road biking seems quite boring but it seems like a nice hobby that I could do for the rest of my life
Which one should I pick? My bike budget is around 1000 bucks.
