It had a wide median for trams, but those were never built. Now there median has mature trees and a foot path. We don't have side walks, so it is not the worst.
If I could I would extend the net work of foot and horse trails so that there is a direct route passage way. Eminent domain land to make pedestrian-only passages 8ft wide to increase interconnectivity and walkability. These should be direct as-the-bird-flies, yet mindful of property lines and established developments. These already exist in my town but they are only three or so. Once people could go any where by horseback before all the development and I'll like to bring that back. Never even riden a house though.
