Anybody else use henleys when it’s cold?
I always wear these under my jacket cause once I build up body heat I can let this out.
Just wondering if anyone else does this.

for me it's a merino wool base layer, then jersey, then jacket if it's way too cold

I feel you on the merino wool.
But yeah I try to avoid any synthetic fibers so I don’t do the typical bike kits.
I’m thinking about buying a Henley from Bonobos that’s wool/hemp/silk blend.

Any specific reason to avoid synthetic fibers? Because I love wool as much as the next guy but synthetic fabrics are just too convenient, both in terms of breathability and size. On tours I always carry a wool base layer but everything else is synthetic, you can just roll that stuff into a little ball and chuck it in your pocket
Of course they smell bad really fast but I can live with that

In the dead of winter, I prefer to wear a fleece jacket with a waterproof shell over it. It’s a warm yet breathable combination if you open the zippers for ventilation.
