Amsterdam is way too expensive for poor immigrants. They have moved out.
The working classes have also moved out.
I can say, PLEASE DON'T GO THERE. Because of all the tourism almost nobody lives in the center anymore. Housing is simply too expensive.
It's becoming a tourist attraction, just like Venice. It's quite a sad place in my opinion. The atmosphere is complete shit now. Just people taking selfies.
In the 1970s-1990s it was quite a rough place, with lots of drugs. That's gone now. This also means that all creative people have gone now, and are replaced by social media addicts. No humor, no creativity. The good people are moving out, the rich and the wannabe's move in. :/
