>>1619411It's hard to go wrong with the classic David Clark headsets. They're built like tanks, fit pretty much any head size, and are comfortable as hell. I tried on some alternatives when shopping for my first headset and didn't like any of them as much. Some people will suggest entry-level noise cancelling headsets in the $600 or so range, but my advice is to just get the basic DC for training and then once you've got your license you can get a really nice 1k+ noise cancelling set and turn the DCs into a loaner set for when you bring friends or family on flights.
