A kick bike is not a status symbol, and the speed is severely limited. Also it requires no specialty clothing and can be shared by many people without size considerations.
Amish people will run their own cnc nills and learn to code if it benefits the community. They are not making these rules up because they are against technology, they are just extremely selective about it to ensure harmony in the community
