I bought a surron X because i'm tired of driving out of town to use my crf 250 on weekends, and I don't want to go through getting a motorcycle.

what are my chances of being ticketed? I live in Dallas texas, and the state of Texas does not have licensing and registration requirements for class 1-3 electric bikes, but my surron doesn't have pedals, and goes 50 mph. I know in california e-bike laws are similar and they basically do whatever they want, but even then it's up to the cops discretion of whether your bike is illegal or not.

I think I might have to register it as a moped, or just wait until a cop tells me the deal. anyone been through this before?
