What is the lock-in plate that goes on the quick disconnectcalled?

Sorry I have no pic of the bike, and sorry that this is a QTDDTOT-tier question by a complete noob, but I have an antique Peugeot bike which has like a half-circle opening at each end of the steering fork. It had a quick disconnect thing where you just pull the lever and it releases, but I lost that part. Now, I can find a quick disconnect assembly, but the problem is that the bike also had 2 plates on each side which like "locked in" to the steering fork. These plates were held into special slots by the quick disconnect assembly from the outside. What is the name of these plates, and where/how can I get new ones that fit?
