im trying to sell a truck thats been sitting in my backyard with the battery disconnected, and it needs to be smogged. buyer test drove it for 15 minutes, parked it for n hour and then i hopped on the freeway and drove it around another 10 minutes .

I then took it to the smog station and told the guy "hey, i had the battery disconnected and only took the truck on two short highway trips for about a total of 20-25 minutes, do you think ill be alright to pass the smog?" and he was like "yeah yeah, lets test it and find out"
and then he runs the full fucking test including dynamo and sniffer for $100 and then at the end tells me i didnt pass becuase the computer hasnt cycled . he then starts telling me i need to drive the truck for like 300miles or about two weeks . i ask him "i just told you i had disconnected th batter and only drove it for 20-25 minutes, why did you tell me to proceed with the smog test?"
he doesnt answer the question and says i can retest for $40 on monday.

fuck this guy. would it be in my best interested to pay $100 again to get the second smog elsewhere? fuck this guy. anything else i can do besides a shit yelp review? did he even do anything wrong or am i bitching and moaning
