I can get a bike of my choice (circa €500) for my birthday, do you guys have any recommendations?

All I want is a city/commuting solid mamachari type with dynamo lights, but problem is I'm about 150-155cm tall so most mamachari/dutch bikes are out of my height range.

The second problem is I'm in the UK and dynamo light bikes don't seem to be a big thing here...

Please recommend me a good website /n/. Is Bikester legit?

I can give on the mamachari functionality but I really want dynamo lights.

Normally the used market would be your best bet to get the most bang for your buck, but the pandemic lockdowns have driven demand up. It's going to be hard to find something that can be considered good value new or used these days. That doesn't mean it's impossible, however. Don't give up. You may have to broaden your desires a little. Look for any bike that isn't from a department store. Hybrid, road, ridgid mountain, whatever. Make sure you know your size. Narrow your search down to aluminium framed options, ridgid, one or two chainrings up front, at least nine cogs in the rear, shimano drivetrain, and threadless fork. Don't be afraid to low ball. Expect to do some tuning.
On second thought, it would be better to save your money and wait until the market cools down so long as you don't need a new bike urgently.
